In day-to-day education, classes are large and teacher attention is
divided, so your child's learning is not fully tailored to their
needs and ability. My vision is to establish a learning journey fully
tailored to every child's needs, ability, and ambitions.
Too often, I see children and young people give up when something is
difficult, believing they cannot achieve. I seek to change the
individual's mindset - to make them excited to learn and to believe
that they can do it by experiencing this style of learning.
Mindset is everything.

I began my teacher training in 2013 immediately after completing my
undergraduate degree and have since taught in a number of schools
across the South of the UK. In these roles, I have gained experience
teaching a range of subjects across Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 5. I
have been a private tutor for several years, working with students
on a local, national and international level.
A full, up-to-date DBS Check is available on request.

you highlight will also guide the learning journey as it progresses,
and you will receive regular feedback as to your child’s progress. I
will also provide you with any advice or methods to help your child,
as required.
Furthermore, I am happy to work with your child's teacher, on
request, to ensure their learning journey across both school and

"Jenhai's lesson were extremely in depth and invaluable. She was able
to grasp the things that I enjoy in life and then relate the different
topics in psychology to those different parts in my life, in order for
me to understand it better. The one-to-one lessons were something I
would look forward to each week as I could cover anything I wanted to
in the syllabus. The best thing about her 1-1 lessons is that we did
not have to accomodate what other students wanted to do and I did not
have worry about their opinions, like you have to do in class. Jenhai
is very easy to talk to. We got on instantly! This really helped as I
felt comfortable enough to ask her to run through the same topic over
and over again until I fully understood it. She was always there to
answer questions. Jenhai was very flexible when it came to the times
of the lessons, and made them fit to my school life, extra curricular
life and social life. I had lessons with Jenhai for over a year after
I struggled with my first year internal exams - specifically the topic
of Attachment, which she went over with me for a very long time, until
it was ingrained in my brain. The most crucial thing that Jenhai
taught me was to just work through my mental blocks because I do know
the information, I just have to apply it properly and read the
question before diving straight in. She also taught me a lot about my
essay technique and how to structure the essays in order to get the
optimum marks, which was invaluable." - Shiv Bansal

"Miss Alman is an awesome teacher and is a lot of fun. She even came
to watch me play footy in her own time and stayed for ages cheering me
on in the rain!!!" - Jack Brown, age 9.
"Jack grew in confidence in Miss Alman's class and he has become more
responsible and independent. Miss Alman was very approachable and was
always happy to discuss any concerns or worries we had about Jack. You
will not regret choosing her and you can feel safe and secure that
your child will be in very capable hands and they will have fun whilst
learning. The Brown family would 100% recommend Miss Alman as a
teacher/tutor." - Andy and Sarah Brown.

"Hannah really enjoyed having lessons with Jenhai. She found reading
difficult at school, but Jenhai helped her make great improvements.
What really stood out about Jenhai was that she tailored the learning
process to meet Hannah’s needs. She took the time to get to know
Hannah and understand what she needed to do to improve her reading
skills. Every lesson, Jenhai came to class with a specific plan and I
think this really helped Hannah improve her reading skills. We would
strongly recommend Jenhai to other children of Hannah’s age (Hannah’s
year 1) as she understands the needs of this age group and she is able
to patiently work with them to improve their skills. As parents, we
were always so impressed with how Jenhai paid close attention to
Hannah, not just academically but also on a personal level as she
always took great interest in Hannah’s interests and school life." -

"Jenhai helped me through my A-Levels when I was about to drop out.
She was my last result and I would’ve never made it without her
especially in my Psychology course. She’s very understanding and has
helped me through a lot, makes things I don’t understand seem simple
by going through them step by step slowly until she’s sure I
understand. Honestly can’t thank her enough for her help." - Steph, 18

"My son struggled terribly with maths and was having confidence issues
with speaking up at school. He has been with Jenhai for around 4
months, his confidence has improved, his grades have improved and he
is no longer in need of send at school! He loves Jenhai’s lessons and
wants to continue throughout the summer holidays! I can not recommend
Jenhai highly enough. She has worked wonders for our son. A*." - Mandy
